International Cooperation
 The Land Development Department is taking active steps to strengthen international cooperation and to expand its role to be one of the leaders of the region. LDD participates in activities organized by various important international bodies such as FAO, APEC, UN, and is working to establish bilateral cooperation in the areas of soil and water conservation, soil improvement, soil survey, soil analysis and soil biotechnology with countries in Europe, Australia and Asia.In South East Asia, LDD is working closely with the technical officials in the field of land development of those countries to develop soil maps and soil data and conduct soil improvement in order to be able to achieve agricultural development. In addition, LDD organizes training courses for neighboring countries to improve agricultural productivity.
